Kylie's back on tour and Pamela Anderson is selling up!

The interesting things on my radar this week...

1.Kylie's tour kicked off in Paris last night and she looked fantastic. This is a slightly bittersweet moment for me as I was meant to be seeing her in Antwerp tomorrow night but the friend I was staying with had a family tragedy so we had to postpone. Am obviously extremely gutted for friend but also a tad sad that I'm missing out and have to wait until July - sigh.

2. I'm in the middle of press show hell at the moment, but it does have some gems. I went to see New Look a couple of weeks back and their stuff looked amazing. But like Disneyrollergirl, I wonder why the stuff we see in the store is sooooo different to what they show at these previews.

3. The sun is shining so it's time to get on board with one of summer's big trends - straw. Top Stylista has her picks of the best straw bags out there - TopShop it seems is going big on this craze, so head on down there if you want to be a summer trendspotter!

4. Eva Mendes is fresh out of rehab and back to work as the face of Calvin Klein. Here's a sneak preview of Eva's shoot with Calvin Klein.

5. If you've always fancied being on Baywatch (and let's face it, who hasn't?!), now's the time to indulge this fantasy. Pamela Anderson is selling up a load of her stuff, including the iconic red Baywatch float, a bikni and some furniture!

News Round-Up: Is Geri dating a Desperate Husband?!

I've decided to move the news round-up to Tuesday as I seem to have more behind the scenes goss on Wednesday, so here are the stories keeping me entertained this week...

Geri takes her new man on a double date with George Michael and his partner. Is it just me or does Ivan look a little like Carlos from Desperate Housewives?! Geri is looking darn hot at the moment - am loving her jumpsuit!

Kylie releases a new video in the states. I'm not sure about the bondage gear but elsewhere she looks sensational.

Are these the cutest celebrity babies ever? Heidi Klum took her 3 kids out for some weekend fun and they are just gorgeous. Coming up close to the title though is Matt Damon's little girl - cute hair and dress.

Coleen gets the sack! Yes it's true, ASDA have dropped Coleen McCloughlin from their campaigns. They apparently want someone more like Helen Mirren! Is this the beginning of the end of the WAG?

New beauty products out this week... In the states, NARS has released a new lipgloss and nail varnish in the much lusted-after Orgasm shade. When is it coming out over here? And if you have a dog - as I do - you might like to purchase this doggy hairdryer. It will be sure to make your pooch's hair sleek and stop that annoying shaking they do when they're wet - because they're worth it!

News Round-Up: Good and bad celebrity hairdos

Lily Allen goes blonde. Why do celebrities with dark skin try and go blonde? It's not a good luck love - get the brunette dye out.

New Bond girl Gemma Arterton has a hair makeover for Quantum Of Solace. I thought she looked fab with a brunette bob in the St Trinian's flick, but I'm loving the red hair even more.

Kylie and Will hug in public. Are they friends again? I don't mind that, I just don't want that man, with his Doctor Who loving ways, near her in a fashion sense every again!

Behind the Scenes: Celebrity chauffeurs

Apologies for not writing much this week - it's been kerazy at work. I had to jet off to Barcelona on Wednesday for a one hour meeting with Mango. Yes, you read that right - I went all that way for a one hour meeting. It was exhausting, especially the 2 hour drive back from Heathrow.

However, I was well and truly entertained by my driver. His name was Roy Snell and he's a bodyguard, an actor and an ex-fighter. He had so many good celebrity stories, which he'll probably be publishing in his autobiography this year.

He had so many good stories, it's hard to say which is the best but it was probably the tale about Roy dumping love-rat James Gooding into a wheelie bin (Kylie calls Roy bear). Roy also initiated the make-up conversation between Jason from Take That and his dad. Jason even name-checked him at The Brits. How cool is that?!

He's driven or bodyguarded nearly anyone you can mention - Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, Madonna, Bros... He was a lovely bloke though - really genuine - and he made those horrible 2 hours on the M25 much more enjoyable. He's making a film called 9mm with Bob Hoskins, Michael Caine and his best mate Ray Winstone in November - I hope he makes it big!

Has Kylie dumped Will Baker at last?

I've written about the fact that Kylie's style has been going downhill but there may now be a chink of light in that grey cloud. The Daily Mail reports today that Kylie and Will are no longer as chummy as they once were and that he will be working with other celebrities and on other projects.

Thank the lord I say. Not only will Kylie hopefully rediscover her great sense of style, but she may also find a bloke now that her gay husband isn't always sniffing around her.

The Elle Style Awards and the naughty Hilton family!

Here's a quick guide to what's on my news radar this week!

1. It was the Elle Style Awards last night. This is always guaranteed to be an A-list event and this year didn't disappoint. Kylie looked amazing (maybe she's read my blog and got rid of Will Baker?!); Keira Knightley looked miserable once more; my style crush Kate Hudson looked a-m-aaazing and Lily Allen looked a bit like Hilda Ogden. I don't even know who won what - apart from the petite but gorgeous James McAvoy - but who cares when there are so many nice frocks on show?!

2. It's another day and another Hilton has been arrested for drink driving - this time the ridiculously named Barron. Are these children just so mega spoilt they don't understand reality? Or are they just really stupid? It just shows you that money can't buy you everything.

3. Valentine's Day is tomorrow - have you sent your card? Victoria Beckham was spotted buying one for David in NYC. I really don't like Posh but I think it's great that they are still together - it's the on positive message she gives young fans. Oh and if you scroll down the above link, you'll see the cutest pic of Cruz!

4. Vivienne Westwood is urging fellow Brit designers to show in the UK. Here, here to that. It's not very cool to be patriotic at the moment but unless we give the younger generation something to believe in - even if it is only fashion and music - this country will never be great again.

5. The Hollywood writers are ending their strike so it's all go for the Oscars. Hurrah! These red carpet events bring some glamour into what is usually a depressing month. It also gives me a chance to gen up on my film knowledge, which is badly needed at the moment. Can't believe I've only been out of that industry for 6 months and I've forgotten stuff. My team only came 7th last night in a local film quiz - shocking!

The new Sex and the City and sleeping with Kylie

This is the news that's been on my radar this week:

1. This year Lipstick Jungle (based on a book by SATC writer Candace Bushell) and Cashmere Mafia will be hitting our screens. Hopefully one of these will fill the Carrie Bradshaw shaped gap on our telly screens. In the states, the shows are already going to head to head – find out more about both of them on E Online

2. I’m going to let my hubbie get into bed with Kylie. I’m not letting him have her for himself though – I’ll get in as well! It’s not some sordid fantasy of mine though as now everyone can get in bed with the pop princess thanks to her launching a line of bed linen!

3. Why is the only popstar from Devon (my home county) barmy? If she’s not sporting hairdresser-aubergine hair or running around barefoot, it seems Joss Stone is saying totally inappropriate things. This time she told an audience at the US National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute that smoking was really ok for you – doh!

4. I’m not really one for the buzz of a new fashion line launch, however, I do think the new Halston line is gorgeous. Yes, there’s a lot of grey but it’s simple glamour at it’s best. Now I just need to be able to get a job where I can afford to buy it!

5. A-list addictions are like buses – no-one goes into rehab for ages and then suddenly lots of Hollywood stars are lining up for treatment! Last week Sean Young decided she need to curb her love of alcohol after getting bawdy at a do, this week Eva Mendes has entered rehab to be treated for her addiction to prescription drugs. Am I the only one who thinks most of them do it for the extra publicity?

News Round-Up: Designer juicy tubes

This is what's going on the fashion and celebrity world this week dahlings!

1. Stop the press! Kylie is in a looks really quite good shocker! I've mentioned before how bad Kylie is looking these days, but she's made me eat my words with her latest video for Wow. She looks fabulous - but you're not off the hook just yet Miss Minogue! I'm keeping an eye on you!

2. Christopher Kane (he of the fabulous leather skating skirt) has joined forces with Lancome to create uber cool Lancome juicy tubes. They look gorgeous but I bet like all of these limited edition products, it will be hard to track them down when they're released in March.

3. Is lesbianism becoming the latest fashion in Hollywood? Well if reports are to be believed Paris Hilton and Elisha Cuthbert have been seen making out in a lesbian bar in LA. And we all know that despite looking like she's gone made in a Barbie factory, whatever Paris wears or does soon becomes trendy among young slacker types!

4. The supermodel is back! Stephanie Seymour - one of the original supermodels and star of the amazing November Rain Guns N Roses video - is on the cover of this month's Pop magazine. I think it's time for those skinny identikit models to move over and make way for the supermodels once more!

Kylie needs to sack Will Baker

There are three things that clearly define me:

1) I’m very clumsy
2) Family and friends are very important to me
3) I’m am more than slightly obsessed with Kylie

So it is with sadness in my heart that I pen this latest blog entry. Why? For the first time in my life, I’m not actually being nice about the diminutive princess of pop. The problem with Kylie is the difference between her off-stage and on-stage persona. Off duty, she rarely puts a fashion foot wrong.

A prime example of this is the gorgeous Grecian-style gown she wore to the G'Day LA: Australia Week gala this week. She looks like a proper pop star. She’s glamour personified but more importantly she looks her age.

Compare and contrast this if you will to these get-ups worn on The X Factor final and her dreadful TV show (oh god, now I can’t stop being nasty about her!). I won't beat around the bush - she looks like mutton dressed as lamb.

I know these are stage looks but her previous stage incarnations have been much more flattering – the showgirl outfit, the leopard skin Dolce and Gabbana catsuit for example.

For someone as photographed as La Minogue, it must be tough turning 40 as Kylie is this year. But is there any need to try quite so hard? What is the multi-pig tail and red eyebrow look about? Why did Will Baker think that lwas a good look? It’s all a bit embarrassing and smacks of desperation.

Will needs to move on and let Kylie dress herself – something she seems really good at doing. By all means, he’s probably a great gay husband, but he’s slightly lost the plot when it comes to styling the nation’s sweetheart.

I love a party with a happy atmosphere

Five things I learnt last night at the office Christmas party…

1. People who say they hate karaoke will always be the one hogging the mic by the end of the night
2. Fashionistas LOVE poring over party photos of themselves the next day commenting on how cute/fat/beautiful they are
3. Not everyone in the office is a shallow fashion type – some are actually very nice and love Kylie as much as I do
4. If you can sing (and in particular if you sing Don’t Stop Me Now) you will stop the party in its track. Open mouths on fashionistas is the best look ever – sweet revenge!
5. Cabbies have always had someone famous in their cab. Last night, it was Howard from Take That

Oh and not sure why I worried so much about the Secret Santa gift. I got a Wonder Woman mug...
